New Order have announced plans to play this year’s South By Southwest Music Festival (SXSW) along with four other concerts in the United States.

The Manchester Legends will return to America in March, starting their first performance at The Factory in Dallas on March 9, and then performing in San Antonio, SXSW, Houston and New Orleans on March 18.

This Saturday (January 28) at 10:00 local time, the pre-sale of tickets with the code TRUEFAITH will begin, after which the general sale of tickets will begin at 10:00 local time on February 3. You can purchase tickets here and find more information about the presale through the band’s official website.

Meanwhile, New Order recently released a Blue Monday-themed T-shirt in support of CALM, a mental health charity.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of the T-shirt will go to CALM (Campaign against a miserable Life), and it can be issued until February 17.

The new product is the work of Factory Records graphic designer Peter Saville, based on the design of the band’s legendary 1983 track.

New Order said of the T-shirt: “We are proud to be CALM ambassadors and proud to use Blue Monday to raise awareness of the brilliant work they do to support millions of people struggling with their mental health.”

Last year, Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris of New Order appeared in Parliament to discuss mental health and suicide prevention on the 42nd anniversary of the death of their Joy Division bandmate Ian Curtis.

Meanwhile, an extended edition of their 1985 album Low-Life is due out this Friday (January 27). The band’s third album will be repackaged and reissued along with the compilation, including LP, 2CD and 2DVD versions, as well as a special book.

New Order play the following US shows:

9 March – The Factory in Deep Ellum, Dallas
11 March – AT&T Center, San Antonio
13-18 March – South By Southwest Music Festival
16 March – 713 Music Hall, Houston
18 March – Orpheum Theater, New Orleans.
